Privacy Notice
What we collect on this website and in client work, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Contact form and email: the name, company, email address, phone number and message you send us, with the time it was sent.
- Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard web-server access logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type, time) for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics: we do not currently run advertising trackers. If we add privacy-respecting, first-party analytics we will say so here.
- Client work: the business information, system access and data you provide so we can perform an engagement, including the details of the systems we connect for you.
Why
To respond to inquiries, scope and perform services, invoice and keep business records, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising. We send marketing email only to people who ask for it, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.
Who sees it
Keystone staff and contractors working on your inquiry or project, and the service providers we use to run the business (website hosting and email, document storage, invoicing and payment processing, and the Upwork platform for engagements made there). Each provider sees only what it needs. We disclose information when the law requires it.
Client data in connected systems
During an engagement we may access your customers' data inside your systems (for example a CRM or phone system) to build and test workflows. We use it only for the work, do not copy it to our own systems beyond what testing and documentation require, and remove our access at handover. You remain the owner and controller of that data.
Retention
Inquiry messages are kept for up to two years. Client project records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Server logs are rotated on a short operational cycle.
Where it lives
Our website and email are hosted in the United States. Client project records are stored with US-based providers under access controls.
Your rights and contact
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or opt out of marketing at any time: info@mykeystoneadvantage.com or (916) 633-5313. California residents have the rights the CCPA/CPRA provides, including the right to know, delete and correct, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them; we honor those rights on request and do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law.
Changes
We may update this notice; the effective date above changes when we do.
